  • 121 Consultations

Your nutritional therapist is dedicated to supporting you as a unique individual, without judgement. Rather than a one-size-fits-all diet or programme, therapists will look at every angle of your health and lifestyle to provide a plan that is realistic, manageable and enjoyable just for you. Your consultation will give you:

    Time to discuss health concerns.

    A tailored nutritional recommendations plan.

Advice on healthy eating and meal preparation.

Advice on obtaining and asking for testing with your GP, and in some instances private testing (at an additional cost).

Advice on safe and useful supplements.

    Support between appointments.

Advice on other holistic lifestyle recommendations.

    Costs:

Initial Consultations require a completed Health & Lifestyle questionnaire to be returned at least 24 hours ahead of your appointment, and includes a 3 day food diary. The initial consultation will last around 90 minutes and will usually require at least two follow up appointments.

  • Functional Testing

Many positive health outcomes can be addressed with a number of specific and small changes. However, from time to time it may be more appropriate to look at gaining insight from laboratory tests that aim to evaluate your health status by measuring how the physiology of the body is functioning, rather than looking at just the symptoms.

Laboratory tests can be vital in pinpointing what may be contributing to your health issues and result in quicker results, helping to guide the development of your personal nutritional programme. For this reason, we may recommend laboratory tests during a consultation and ‘itstheberries’ uses a range of UK medical laboratories, including Genova Diagnostics, Biolab and Invivo, that are not available to the public directly.

A laboratory test will typically involve a blood, breath, blood, urine, saliva, or stool sample. The majority of samples can be taken in the comfort of your own home, or may even be available through your GP at no cost, in which case, we will always try to minimise the cost to you and will never advise on unnecessary testing.
